ancient and modern American history. Scenes from the Book of Mormon are
enacted on a stage larger than a football field. The Expulsion of the
Latter-day Saints from the eastern United States is dramatized. The
Entry of the Pioneers into the Sanpete Valley is depicted by the
residents of South Central Utah in loving tribute to their kinsmen who
originally walked into the valley You will definitely leave this
unforgettable experience with an increased appreciation for your own
families.
Barbecued turkey and roast beef dinners are served nightly starting at
5:00 p.m. at both L.D.S. ward buildings in Manti. Although food is not
allowed on the temple grounds, fast foods of several kinds are
available near the pageant area. Many families camp at local parks and
campgrounds. See Palisade Park.
