Manti Pageant

Tuesday, June 19 through Saturday, June 23

On each of eight evenings in June, a cast of over 500 present in dance, music and picture some of the most compelling and dramatic scenes from ancient and modern American history. Scenes from the Book of Mormon are enacted on a stage larger than a football field. The Expulsion of the Latter-day Saints from the eastern United States is dramatized. The Entry of the Pioneers into the Sanpete Valley is depicted by the residents of South Central Utah in loving tribute to their kinsmen who originally walked into the valley You will definitely leave this unforgettable experience with an increased appreciation for your own families.

Barbecued turkey and roast beef dinners are served nightly starting at 5:00 p.m. at both L.D.S. ward buildings in Manti. Although food is not allowed on the temple grounds, fast foods of several kinds are available near the pageant area. Many families camp at local parks and campgrounds. See Palisade Park.
